Import canned jobs from Tekmetric into Shift

Problem

You want your Tekmetric canned jobs to align with Shift's custom maintenance services so existing service definitions carry over.

Cause

Shift can pull your Tekmetric canned jobs in one action via the extension.

Resolution

  1. In Tekmetric, navigate to your job board.
  2. Open the Shift extension.
  3. Click the gear icon at the top right of the extension.
  4. Click 'Import canned jobs.'
  5. Your Tekmetric canned jobs will be imported into Shift. You can then create or align matching custom maintenance services in the Shift web app under Settings → 'Customize your maintenance.'
