Problem
You've found vehicles that don't return data in Shift even after the VIN decodes correctly.
Cause
Service info is sourced from upstream providers and has known coverage gaps. Some gaps are fixable on our side, others depend on the upstream vendor.
Resolution
- Send the VIN(s) to support so we can check whether the gap is fixable on our side.
- If you have a list of affected vehicles or makes, send that too — patterns help us prioritize.
- We're investigating cross-model reference improvements that will help when a specific trim isn't found but a similar configuration is.
- Any feedback you provide here directly informs the roadmap.
